Sawdust briquette is produced from wood waste as sawdust, shavings and chips which are compressed under high pressure without any gluing substances.
Low moisture makes the heating value higher then of wood. Because of high compactness of the sawdust in relation with the volume the burning process is slow and gradual. The briquette is in a shape of cuboid.
ADVANTAGES:
1) high compactness, easiness of storing and distribution
2) can be used in heating boilers with automatic feeding
3) high heating value
4) low emission of sulphur dioxide and other harmful substances during burning process,
5) low amount of ash
6) ash can be used as a fertilizer
7) can be stored in dry place for a long time
8) awide range of usage: in individual boiler rooms, city or industrial heating systems
